RLM Designs was born out of love

Before RLM Designs came to be I worked for a print company designing just about everything you could put a design on, from t-shirts to ink pens! In 2009 our family increased in size with the birth of our second baby and I decided to become a stay at home mom, which was a big decision for our family. As time went on I missed designing so I did some freelance work on the side. Then in 2012 our family grew again, with the birth of our third child. I was a very busy mom and had little time to work from home. As time passed, again I began to miss designing. 

 

 In 2013 one of my closest friends told me she had breast cancer. I knew she was hurting and I wanted to be there for her but she closed up during this season of her life. Not sure how I could be there for her, I decided to make her something. Using my design skills and my love of painting and working with wood I created a set of  wood blocks which read “PRAYER - when life gets too hard to stand, kneel” After creating those blocks I realized my old passion was still there. I was so filled with joy being able to create again! After lots of encouraging words from close friends and family I decided to try my hand at another sign and asked God to bless it if this was something He wanted me to pursue, otherwise to close the door on it completely and let nothing come from it. What happened next was far more than I could have ever expected. RLM designs was born in November of 2013...all because of love.
